Condition Summary:

This painting is on what appears to be a naturally stained and varnished wood panel. Examined under blacklight; repairs to the wood panel are apparent along the right edge; an 1/8 inch wide repair extending approximately 4 inches from the edge of the frame to the horse’s ear, and another 1/8 inch wide repair extends approximately 4 inches from the edge of the frame, finishing 4 inches below the horse’s bridal. Smaller pinpricks of repair scattered along the right edge of the painting. Overall the condition of the artwork appears to be good. Some chipping to frame, overall condition is good.
